Location:At home, kitchen.
The Setup:Sunday morning, fresh loaf of bread, and a discussion about Vegemite on Reddit fresh in my mind. I stopped down the aperture so that the Vegemite jar in the background would be recognisable. At this point I was holding the knife with one hand and the camera with the other. Later on I tried elevating the bread with a butter lid, and asked Lui to hold the knife so I could use a longer exposure, but I was happier with this earlier shot.
The camera & lens:Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Exposure: 1/30" @ f/16/1, ISO 1600
Lightroom - I didn't do a lot to this picture. I'd composed it in camera, all that was needed was some slight mid-tone curve adjustment (as always), and I used the clarity bar to highlight the detail in the out-of-focus parts of the bread.
The wash-up:Pretty happy with this one.
