Location:The Workshops Rail Museum, North Ipswich
The Setup:The Workshops Rail Museum had a free-entry weekend so we popped over for a look. This photo was taken on a tour of the steam train workshops.
Not long after this, there was a spewpocalypse - the kind where it was better for all concerned that we just packed up and went home to hose everything off.
The camera & lens:Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Exposure: 1/8" @ f/4/1, ISO 1600
Lightroom - (I am imitating the style of Alan Warren's instructions here, to make things a bit more readable).
- Curves - lights +65, darks +40, shadows -45: To lighten the dark areas inside the cab.
- Fill light +10, clarity +100: To finish off the job above.
- Noise Reduction - luminance +45: It was quite dark inside, and I brightened the picture futher.
The wash-up:I'm quite happy with this. This is basically what I set out to get.
