Seven Hills TAFE – June #14/14

Location:

Seven Hills, Qld

The Setup:

Spent an afternoon and evening at the abandoned TAFE. This is a concrete couch with tiles. Mick is paranoid.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 15mm
Exposure: 31/1" @ f/5.0, ISO 400 (0/3)

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Presence: Exposure +0.85 stops
  2. Curves: Hightlights -100, lights +55, darks -5, shadows +10
  3. Noise reduction: Luminance +25
  4. Post-crop vingetting: Amount -100, midpoint 43, roundness -3, feather 100 (to create the claustrophobic feel)
  5. Crop and rotate

The wash-up:

This was Mick's idea and he executed it perfectly.
