The Setup:

Gold Coast's beaches have been eroding for a while now, and with this week's terrible weather, they have taken quite a beating. All beaches at Miami and Nobby Beach are shut for the time being as there is now a sizable gap between the beach access steps and the sand!

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 650D
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 15mm
Exposure: 60" @ f/6.3, ISO 200 (0/1)

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Exposure +1.5 stops, highlights -100, shadows +5, whites +40, blacks -20
  2. ACR lens correction profile for Canon EF-S 15-85mm
  3. Noise reduction: Luminance +20
