License: No Re-Use (What does this mean?)

Location:

The summit, Mt Coot-tha, Brisbane
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

While mucking around at the summit, Evelyn made friends with a little dog named Mika.

She also wanted to make friends with a chocolate labrador but by the time I got through asking its owner if it was okay with kids, Evelyn had already run off.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
@ 30/1mm
Exposure: 1/125" @ f/28/10, ISO 200

Post processing:

Lightroom -

  1. Auto apply a B&W preset I have called "PSKiss-FilmStyleBW-01". It auto applies curves (lights +60, darks -12, shadows -12), brightness +45, contrast +45, clarity +50 and increases the colour mixes in all channels, but mainly green and aqua.

The wash-up:

I cut off all limbs in sight, and the aperture is too wide at f/2.8 (Mika's face is in crisp focus, while Evelyn's is slightly off.) I had ISO 200 set which I don't normally do, but I had been shooting bright scenes just before and had not changed settings back.
