Comment on The New Yorker by Al Warren at 16th June 2014

Hey! That's one of my fave buildings up that end of Adelaide. I've snuck in for a look around, its not as Art Deco as it should be IMO.

Comment on The Big Issue Pose by Alan Warren at 13th May 2014

Great photo, I've edited it down to give an older medium-format look. The only other thing I wanted to do was slightly rotate to get the verticals vertical, but that's a restriction of the Pixlr engine here.

Comment on The Big Issue Pose by Alan Warren at 13th May 2014

Hey, I like this one. Can I get a link to the DIY plugin on it?

There certainly wasn't a train line there when I was a lad. Some of my fondest memories of the Gold Coast were of Magic Mountain. Seems like so long ago now.

Comment on Australian Stingless Bee by lbmcshutter at 30th March 2014

lovely detail, I'd never realised what a lovely shot the wonderful patterns of a sunflower could make

Comment on Honeybee by lbmcshutter at 30th March 2014

I prefer the stingless bee - partly because I am allergic to these ones, but also the shapes in the other one appealed to me

Comment on Australian Stingless Bee by Al Warren at 28th March 2014

Comment on Jan 2014 Urbex #1 by Prout at 24th March 2014

Haha yeah I thought I might get that kinda answer. I've got locations that are very secretive, even places with no graffiti which is a rarity so I understand. Half the reward is being able to find them 🙂 Great shots btw!

Comment on Jan 2014 Urbex #1 by Prout at 21st March 2014

Would love to know the location of this factory. Bit hard to try and find while in brisbane without any info.

Lovely picture, but I would like to try the biscuits. if you don't have any, the recipe will do 😀

Comment on Queens Park Orb #2 by Stevo at 8th February 2014

this is a great shot and I love the blue fading sky. If I was finalising this shot or doing this shot, I would either clone out the few star stretches their or continued along the path of doing a full star trail for this shot so star trail overhead and the orb in the shot.

Being a lover of natural looking HDR, I would then go a little further and HDR the hut on the left and the walls on the right to finish off the beautiful location and shot.

You did awesome in the shot you have

Comment on Double Exposure: Police and Graffiti by Stevo at 8th February 2014

Very creative/artistic. If this was the look you were going for great, if I was putting this together, I would have cloned out the black pieces off the brick wall (centre) and then moulded together so the final version didn’t have the black mould/charcoal on the top/middle/centre of the photo as it detracts my eye and brings me to that point in the photo.

Comment on Royce by Stevo at 8th February 2014

I want to shoot with him 🙂 This is a great POV and great shot overall.

Comment on Bike Lane by pcmemoirs at 15th January 2014

I think it was pretty dangerous to take photos while riding your bicycle. You're a brave person, but please don't do this again. I don't want you to hurt yourself. How can I learn about ColdFusion and photography if you're lying in the hospital 😉 ???
I hope you were wearing a helmet! Stay safe out there!
Now to the picture: it's pretty cool, especially in black & white. I just wished I could see the bike in full 😉
