At home, Ipswich - in the kitchen
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

I've spent most of the last week on sick leave, so I've been boning up on some things. Coding is one, and practicing some light painting is the other. This was a combination of a small LED torch and an imitation light saber. I made sure to clean the kitchen first. Writing cursive and backwards a special challenge.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 15mm
Exposure: 30" @ f/8, ISO 100 (M)

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Presence: Temperature -800, contrast +45, highlights +40, shadows -30, whites +65, blacks -65.
  2. Crop and rotate
  3. ACR lens profile for EF-S 15-85. Custom setting: vertical correction -15

The wash-up:

Just mucking around.
