Brisbane Central Station
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

This is another idea from the internet: #lookdownlookup. This is taking a photo looking forward, and looking down at your feet.

The camera & lens:

Camera: iPhone 4
Lens: iPhone 4 fixed lens (30mm equivalent)
Exposure: 1/15" @ f/2.8 (Two exposures blended: Exposure: 1/15" @ f/2.8, ISO 400 (Down) Exposure: 1/15" @ f/2.8, ISO 160 (Up))

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Crop and rotate each image
Photoshop Elements 7 -
  1. Three layers - two each containing the down and up photos, and a third containing the white background.
  2. I have put a 60 pixel border around the photos.
  3. Note: There is a $0.99 app for iPhone which does this, but I was too mean to pay this, deciding to do it manually in Photoshop.
Lightroom 4 -
  1. Presence: Clarity +50

The wash-up:

I wasn't exactly straight on, so adjusting it to be so doesn't look quite right. It's fine as long as you don't look too closely.

What would you do?
