General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

This is for the Get Pushed challenge 35. My challenge was "Macro Abstract in Colour" - thanks to @voileta! This certainly was hard to adjust to, as I'm used to drawing particular pictures, even in macro. I guess the trick here is: context - make sure there is none.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 650D
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 24mm
Filters: 0.42x fisheye filter (macro mode)
Exposure: 1/30" @ f/20, ISO 320 (0/1)

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Presence: Highlights +25, shadows -100, white balance -85, black clipping +15, clarity +50
  2. Curves: lights +15

The wash-up:

The 15-85 isn't quite as well matched to the macro filter as the 18-55 was. Liveview made this massively easier though!
