The Setup:

With the remaining passionfruit icing, Lui made some melting moments biscuits. Extra delicious.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II @ 25mm
Filters: 0.42x fisheye filter (fisheye mode)
Exposure: 1/30" @ f/7.1, ISO 1600 ((10.5mm equivalent))

Post processing:

Lightroom -

  1. Curves: lights +50
  2. Crop - slight
  3. Noise reduction: luminance +30, detail +100
  4. Colour temperature +200 - for a warmer picture

The wash-up:

Not sure the composition and layout of the plate is the best.

      It took a while to track down but here it is:

      1 cup flour
      ½ cup cornflour
      ½ cup castor sugar
      ¾ cup butter (approx 170g)
      1 teaspoon vanilla essence

      Beat butter until smooth, beat in sieved dry ingredients and vanilla.
      Refrigerate for one hour.
      Form small balls, place on ungreased tray and flatten with floured fork.
      Bake 10-12 minutes at 175°C (375°F).
