Close-up picture of printing press internals

West Ipswich
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

This is the old newspaper printing press at West Ipswich, up close. The focus is a bit off but I like the subject. I had initially converted to B&W but upon revisiting, I have decided to go with the pastel rust colours.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 650D
Lens: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX-DC @ 30mm
Exposure: 1/80" @ f/4, ISO 100 (0/1)

Post processing:

Lighroom 4 -

  1. Crop & rotate
  2. Clarity +50

The wash-up:

Focus is not right, but it was f/1.4.
