A blurry picture of people running

Southbank, Brisbane
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

My iPhone capture program (CameraPrime) lets you take three shots in succession; I pressed the button and then held the camera in the air while running. This is pretty much exactly what I was after, though I was fairly confident that I wouldn't get the shot.

The camera & lens:

Camera: iPhone 4
Lens: iPhone 4 fixed lens (30mm equivalent) @ 3.85mm
Exposure: 1/15" @ f/2.8, ISO 1000

Post processing:

Lightroom - It's hard to make a shot like this look like anything, so I went for the surreal. I didn't add a curves adjustment at all, but did set fill light to 50, blacks to 35 and recovery to 40. I dont normally use the contrast adjustment but I did in this case (contrast +40). I also used clarity +50 to sharpen things up. I set saturation to +30 to apply a dose of crazy colour. I adjusted the colours so there wasn't too much of any particular colour (green -25 and blue -45). Customary noise reduction set to 50 (there's no getting rid of it completely, but that's not a massive problem).

The wash-up:

This is what I was after.
