Location:

Bundamba, industrial area
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

Just walking home from the train station. I saw the nearly full moon and a heap of clouds. I had to hang around for a while for the clouds to move to the right spot.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
@ 300/1mm
Exposure: 1/160" @ f/71/10, ISO 400

Post processing:

Lightroom - I pumped up the mid-dark and mid-light levels to 100, but left the darkest and lightest levels mostly alone. This was to leave some texture in the moon, and to leave some blue in the sky, otherwise it would have looked like it was taken at night anyway. It's possible to get this much blue sky at night, using a long exposure, but the moon would get blown out.

What would you do?

    Yay – wordpress!

Any idea if you can restore all your old content into this?

PS – Nice Photos! (Wish I could take photos of the moon and have them actually turn out)

I probably can, but I was thinking of taking that old stuff down anyway. This makes the decision a bit easier 🙂
