Location:

Bundamba, football field.
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

Walking to the train station, it was a beautiful foggy morning and I was searching for a scene that would make a good photo. This is a football field and I've never noticed spider webs on the fence before, but the water droplets helped point them out to me.

The camera & lens:

Camera: iPhone 4
Lens: iPhone 4 fixed lens (30mm equivalent) @ 77/20mm
Exposure: 1/15" @ f/28/10, ISO 1000

Post processing:

Lightroom - I did the normal minor curves adjustment. I upped the blacks and clarity bars to darken the grass and lighten the webs respectively, so the foreground would pop out more. I also added an adjustment filter to desaturate (and thus take the focus off) the buildings to the right. I added a tint back to it so it didn't look too out of place (otherwise it would have been grey).

The wash-up:

I would have walked back a bit to get a shot which had only trees in the background. I tried to shoot at an angle to exclude the building to the right but it just looked crap.

What would you do?
