Location:

Queens Park, Ipswich
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

I was just grabbing every shot that I could. I had the polariser on, which doesn't do very good work in the shade.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX-DC @ 30mm
Filters: Polariser
Exposure: 1/320" @ f/4.5, ISO 400

Post processing:

Lightroom - Most of the work I did on this was to counter the effect of using a polariser in the shade. I upped the fill light (+20) and put a medium curve (highlights +50, lights +25, darks -15, shadows -10).

The wash-up:

I would like to have cleared stuff away from the sides and shooed my nieces away from the background. However, frankly, it's either a chaotic situation or a contrived situation, and I prefer the former!

What would you do?
