The Setup:

Walking from work to Southbank, I have walked by this a few times. I'm not sure what purpose this serves (though Google would probably know - Google knows everything). The way I see it, it's only useful for people working in the Riverside Centre to get to the sushi shop without having to use an umbrella. Pretty though.

The camera & lens:

@ 77/20mm
Exposure: 1/15" @ f/28/10, ISO 160

Post processing:

Lightroom - I used a strong contrast curve (lights +65, darks -35, shadows -65). This blew out some highlights, so I reigned them in with the recovery bar (100). I wanted to put clarity up to 100 but when doing that on the whole image, it left the middle section looking unattractive (you can see the shadow there now, it was made much worse). My solution to this was two graduated filters that would set the side sails to high clarity, and taper off toward the middle. I could also have used an adjustment filter (for better precision), but this way was less effort.

The wash-up:

I'm happy with this for what it is.
