The Setup:

I've snapped this before, so there wasn't much thought to it. Just had to make sure I got some of the curls in frame.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
@ 30/1mm
Exposure: 1/25" @ f/14/10, ISO 1600

Post processing:

Lightroom - Not a lot needed doing, but I did some stuff anyway. I brightened up the picture using a curve adjustment that raised midtones (lights +30, darks +25), and put recovery up to 100 to bring the blown out highlight in the middle of the picture back under control. I also raised the green luminance (green +100, yellow +25) to make the green leaves brighter.

The wash-up:

When I took my test shot three weeks ago, they had purple lights on. Tonight, white lights. Would have preferred the purple lights.

What would you do?
