Sherwood/Fairfield/Moorookaish area
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

This painting on a bridge pylon has had me baffled for a long time. I just don't know what they're getting at with "Cash Orders On Own Our Store Only". Moreover, I don't understand why this is painted on a bridge.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
@ 120/1mm
Exposure: 1/250" @ f/71/10, ISO 400

Post processing:

Lightroom - I used a very steep curve (lights +100, darks +10, shadows -100), fill light +25, blacks +15, recovery +100 (since the other adjustments blew out the highlights), and saturation +15. Final adjustments were a slight crop and straighten, and noise reduction (luminance +50).

The wash-up:

I would have liked to get in earlier in the day without the bright sunlight hitting part of the pylon.

What would you do?

If that's where I think it is I'm going to guess that it was an old hardware shop next to the old rail bridge and was knocked down when the bridge was upgraded to accommodate a second rail line. Oxley Rd, Sherwood, yeah?
