The Setup:

Graham has built a fort. This is a bit of an awkward composition, as I was trying to include the surroundings in the story.

The camera & lens:

Camera: iPhone 4
Exposure: 1/17" @ f/2.8, ISO 100 (CameraPrime)

Post processing:

Instagram - Taken on iPhone and processed in-phone using Instagram. I used the Brannan filter, which I thought nicely worked with the yellow of the packet and the blue of Graham's shirt, without making skin tones red.

The wash-up:

I would have moved a bit to my left so Graham was leaning in to the picture rather than out of it.

What would you do?

i think it works well with Graham looking out of the picture. i’d even go as far as to say that the photo would loose something if he was looking into the picture. this way gives the impression that he has the weight of all that paperwork (that he may or may not be behind on) on his shoulders.
