Jacob's Ladder, Brisbane City
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

With boot camp, we were doing steps training up and down these stairs for an hour. There were people at the bottom of the stairs giving out cans of Red Bull. Once we finished our running, they also finished up and were carrying the coffin up the stairs.

There's nothing technically excellent about this photo - I just thought it was amusing, and I didn't yet have any other photos for the day.

Post processing:

Instagram -

  1. I used Instagram for the processing, with the Lomo-fi filter.

The wash-up:

A proper camera would have been better, though I don't want to leave my DSLR at the bottom of the steps in case someone flogs it. The spooky setup the Red Bull people had would have made a good photo as well but it was too dark for the ol' iPhone, and they packed up before I could get back with the DSLR.

What would you do?
