Location:

At home, Ipswich
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

I lost a Saturday, and by the time I could stand up straight it was night time and I had no photo taken. This is another go-to photo. We have one of those Ikea handles with screwdriver bits, for maximum convenience, and the soft metal gets marked fairly easily.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
@ 28/1mm
Exposure: 1/5" @ f/8/1, ISO 1600

Post processing:

Lightroom -

  1. Crop slightly and rotate to change angle
  2. Exposure +0.5 stops, clarity +100
  3. Noise reduction: luminance +100, detail +100, contrast 0
  4. Vignette -24
  5. Cloned (heal) out a hair and a speck of something

The wash-up:

No other photos taken today - this was the go-to photo.
