The Setup:

Rally for detainees at Manus Island, held at Queens Park in Brisbane. Organised by the Refugee Action Collective.

In-camera panorama (the first one I've successfully done). Nice long shadows.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Sony RX100 II
Lens: Sony RX100M2 fixed lens 10.4-37.1mm f/1.8-4.9 (28-105mm equivalent) @ 10.4mm
Exposure: 1/500" @ f/3.2, ISO 200 (Auto panorama mode in-camera)

Post processing:

Lightroom 5 -

Basic: Highlights +15, white clipping +30, black clipping -35 - Aim to deepen the shadows just a little bit.
