A smashed, graffitied window overlooking grafittied buildings.

Seven Hills, Qld
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

Spent an afternoon and evening at the abandoned TAFE. View out of a broken, spraypainted window, over a yard of vandalised walls.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 29mm
Exposure: 1/50" @ f/4.5, ISO 400

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. ACR lens correction profile for Canon EF-S 15-85
  2. ACR lens correction manual settings: horizontal perspective correction -3 (that's all it needed)
  3. Crop and rotate

The wash-up:

Once I finished the adjustments to make it straight, I was pleased with it. I tried a few different angles and liked this the best.
