Unidentified machinery, broken.

Seven Hills, Qld
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

Spent an afternoon and evening at the abandoned TAFE. This is a big broken thing. I suppose it was in there in order to get repaired, but it never was. I tried to HDR this but I still haven't got the hang of HDR photography.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 18/1mm
Exposure: 20/1" @ f/8/1, ISO 400

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Added Graduated Filter in bottom left hand side, exposure +1.5 stops.
  2. Crop
  3. Clarity +60

The wash-up:

I'd be happier if I could work out HDR! Also the angle didn't work out as well as I'd hoped, but it's not terrible.
