A large mural painted on an abandoned warehouse, with surrounding graffiti.

Seven Hills, Qld
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

Spent an afternoon and evening at the abandoned TAFE. This is one of the walls and windows in the ceramics block, with some pretty elaborate art.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 15mm
Exposure: 30/1" @ f/8.0, ISO 400 (6/3)

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Presence: Exposure -0.5 stops, shadows +15, white clipping +30, black clipping -35
  2. ACR lens correction for EF-S 15-85mm, plus chromatic abberation removal.

The wash-up:

I tried to HDR this as well, but no go.
