General location: Australia, South-East Queensland
The Setup:This is for the get-pushed-41 challenge from @mbrunner: "to capture motion. could be traffic, people, sports, whatever moves. if this is too boring - an extra: 'motion with emotion'."
It is the Buddha's birthday celebration all weekend at Southbank. At the western end of the parkland a stage was set up with heaps of food stalls and bouncy castles. These guys were dancing in front of the stage. Emotion would be happiness!
The camera & lens:Camera: Canon EOS 650D
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 30mm
Exposure: 1/30" @ f/2.5, ISO 6400 (Av f/2.5, rest auto)
Lightroom 4 -
- Adjust white balance to 3.3K (not quite Tungsten) (I had flouro set manually in camera)
- Exposure -0.5 stops, highlights +30, shadows -25, whites -20 to try to combat this (best thing is to turn the magentas into white, got some of the way there)
The wash-up:I tried a lot of things to get rid of that magenta cast, but couldn't work it out.
What would you do?
