Cnr Wickham & Ballow St, Fortitude Valley
General location: Australia, South-East Queensland

The Setup:

I think this is the same building as the last one, but from the other side. Again, open to the street if you're keen.

The camera & lens:

Camera: Canon EOS 650D
Lens: Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 USM IS @ 17mm
Exposure: 1/30" @ f/5, ISO 400 (0/1)

Post processing:

Lightroom 4 -

  1. Preset: B&W Look 5, which uses desaturation to get a B&W image, with shadow levels -15, temp +60 and tint +25.
  2. Clarity +80
  3. ACR lens profile for EF-S 15-85mm
  4. Spot adjustment over the black paint on the right wall: clarity +50 (it didn't work as well as I wanted, the text reads "this way down", with an arrow cleverly pointing upward)
